Cortney Compton, ATC, LAT, ITAT


Head Athletic Trainer, Shiloh High School

Cortney earned a Bachelor of Science Education degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Georgia. While there, she worked with Georgia’s volleyball, football, gymnastics, and swimming and diving teams, as well as the Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championships.

Since graduation, she has worked as a head athletic trainer for high schools in Virginia and Hawaii, as well as the Peninsula Pilots baseball team, the Virginia Duals wrestling tournament and the Boo Williams Basketball Tournament. Most recently, she was the head athletic trainer at Chaminade University.

She joined Gwinnett Medical Center in 2012 as the head athletic trainer for Shiloh High School.
