Andrew Johnson

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Valdosta State University in 2005 and his Master’s of Arts in Health and Physical Education from Adams State College in 2007. He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in Georgia as well as an ImPACT-Trained Athletic Trainer. He is an active member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Southeast Athletic Trainer’s Association, and Georgia Athletic Trainer’s Association.

Prior to joining Gwinnett Medical Center, Andrew served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at two Division III Schools - Maine Maritime Academy and Piedmont College. After finishing college, he was the Head Athletic Trainer at Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth, Colorado. He has also covered a variety of other camps and teams, including semi-professional indoor soccer team while in Colorado.
