Glenn Lee Receives Accreditation as a Certified Radiology Administrator

Duluth, Ga.—Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth (GMC-Duluth) Imaging Manager Glenn Lee recently achieved the credential of Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) through the Radiology Administration Certification Commission (RACC). The CRA program is the only credential to recognize the range of skills and expertise an imaging administrator possesses. For over 25 years, Lee has served the Gwinnett Medical Center system, which includes hospitals in Duluth and Lawrenceville and provides acute care, outpatient services, orthopedic and neuroscience specialty care as well as a full continuum of wellness services.

“For years, Glenn has demonstrated an extensive knowledge of the imaging profession as a technologist manager while also relying on his business experience to develop a group that’s operationally successful,” said GMC-Duluth President Lea Bay. “Glenn’s passion for the industry and professional commitment are amplified by this voluntarily pursuit of excellence.”

Currently, Lee is responsible for managing all diagnostic imaging, computed tomography, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and women’s imaging at GMC-Duluth. He began his radiology career with the U.S. Army and Air Force. Then, he completed his Master in Business Administration from Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga. He has also served GMC as imaging supervisor, weekend supervisor and lead operating room technologist.

The Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) program was designed to recognize professional competencies in five key medical imaging management areas:
