Rashed Alfarra, MD

Medical School: International American University College of Medicine

Rashed was born and raised in Damascus, Syria. He began his medical training at the University of Kalamoon, a six-year medical program. Due to the escalating political circumstances in Syria, Rashed transferred out of the program during his fourth year and was accepted into International American University in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated from medical school.

He chose to specialize in internal medicine because he enjoys the diversity of the field and enjoys establishing long-term relationships with his patients. His professional interests include preventative medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology and urology. He lives in Roswell with his wife Randa. Rashed comes from a big family and spends his spare time reading, traveling, playing ping-pong and cooking for his friends and family.
