The Legacy Campaign

Over $2 million raised for the new Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth

The Beginning of a Legacy...Community Action in the Face of Need

Healthcare in Gwinnett has a history of heroic community action. It began over 60 years ago when leaders in Duluth responded to the tragedy of a child’s death due to lack of local medical treatment. They raised funds to establish a local clinic which later became Joan Glancy Memorial Hospital.

Continuing the Legacy

In the same spirit that the county's first hospital arose from the ideals and determination of Gwinnett citizens, the Legacy Campaign invites our community to join in supporting Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth, the replacement facility for Joan Glancy Memorial Hospital. Continuing that legacy of caring is vital to the provision of the best healthcare in our community - now and into the future.

Designed to take patient care to a higher level, Gwinnett Medical Center- Duluth combines hotel-like amenities with the latest in medical technology.
