Addiction Treatment
Inpatient/Detox (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)
SummitRidge offers programs for all ages and for all levels of care.
Community 12-Step recovery groups meet at SummitRidge seven days a week.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Once the patient is emotionally and medically safe, transfer to the partial hospitalization program begins the gradual return to day-to-day living. For those not requiring medical detox, this may be the beginning of their treatment. In the Partial Hospitalization program, patients learn about addiction, including patterns, consequences, relapse, coping skills and resources for maintaining sobriety. Family groups and individual family sessions address questions families are likely to have about treatment and diagnoses, as well as how they can best help their family member.
Intensive Outpatient Program
As its name implies, this program is an intensive exploration of the impact addiction has on individuals and their lives. Recognizing and eventually accepting the problem is essential to effectively dealing with it. Patients receive guidance and support in learning to use the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous to make positive changes in their lives. Patients work with each other and with counselors to develop plans for preventing relapse and begin to establish vital connections with the local recovering community. Families and other people important to the patient are welcome participants in this level of care.
