You are invited to become a member of PrimeTime Health, a new comprehensive network of valuable services exclusively designed for adults age fifty and older. PrimeTime Health membership is free. Classes

 

AARP Driver Safety Program - The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older.  It has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads. Benefits of taking the course include sharpening your driving skills and updating your knowledge of the rules of the road.  Classes also cover normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust driving to allow for these changes.  Participants qualify for an insurance discount. Auto insurance companies in most states provide a multiyear discount to AARP graduates!  Click here for dates and other registration information. 

 

 

 

 

PrimeTime Health YogaThese yoga classes are restorative and well suited for older adults with little exercise experience or with injuries. Yoga poses are broken down to their simplest form for maximum benefit. Emphasis is on posture control for improving balance, body control and improving spinal health. Classes conclude with relaxation and meditation to relax the nervous system and calm the mind. Class meets once a week. FEE: $75 for a 9-week series.

PrimeTime Health T’ai Chi -- T’ai Chi is an ancient Chinese form of gentle exercise and movements that can help improve balance, flexibility, strength and stamina. The flowing movements of T’ai Chi are designed to promote relaxed muscle control, improved balance and blood circulation throughout the body. This type of gentle movement is a safe and effective exercise for those with arthritis, high blood pressure, or balance and coordination problems. Class is great for beginners and meets once a week. FEE: $100 for 12-week series
