Before I had total joint replacement, I could not jump, run or even mow the lawn.
I could hardly walk and was extremely bowlegged. In 2004 I had Total Joint Replacement on my right knee, and in 2005 I had it on my left knee. My surgeries could not have been a more satisfying and productive experience.

I was presented with detailed information about the surgery and how to care for my knees when I was released from the hospital. This was very beneficial because my family and me knew what to expect. After surgery the Gwinnett Medical Center team was amazing – the orthopedic floor was so caring and sensitive to my needs. The physical therapist had me up and walking the next day after surgery.

I am 70-years-old and for me to be able to do what I did as a teenager is just phenomenal. Dr. Albert and the Gwinnett Medical Center team gave me my life back.
