Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers are utilized year-round at both our Lawrenceville and Duluth campuses. Volunteers play a vital role in assisting our staff in a variety of areas throughout the hospital.

Volunteer Opportunities- All Gwinnett Medical Center volunteers are required to be members of the Auxiliary, attend an orientation, purchase a volunteer uniform to wear while on duty and pay annual dues. In addition, a once a week, four-hour commitment to your assigned service area is required. Adult volunteers must be able to make a six month commitment to our volunteer program.
Please note that the Auxiliary is not an internship program, nor a means to obtain a job within the hospital. We view volunteering as a long-term commitment and seek committed individuals who will be members for many years to come.
Lawrenceville- Shifts are open Monday- Friday From 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 1 - 5 p.m. Placements are available at the Medical Center, Women's Pavillion and Gwinnett Extended Care Center.
Duluth- Shifts are open during the same hours as Lawrenceville in addition to weekends and evenings. Placements are available at the Medical Center, Outpatient Surgery Center and the Glancy Rehab Center.
