Running Clinic at Gwinnett Medical Center—Where Atlanta’s Runners Go
Whether on park trails or neighborhood sidewalks, runners can be seen in all seasons of the year throughout Metro Atlanta. That’s why Gwinnett Medical Center has created a center where runners of all levels can come to get started, prevent injury and improve performance.
Every runner has a unique gait and stride length, body type and level of flexibility. For this reason, runners need individual solutions. To do this, GMC’s Running Clinic gives each patient a personalized assessment and training plan to keep you running longer and stronger.
Getting Started: Gait Analysis
Whether you’ve got your sights set on your first 5K, or you’re a seasoned veteran trying to set a new personal record, we recommend you get a gait analysis. Our running expert, an avid runner who is certified in physical therapy as well as strength and conditioning, will perform this test and show you areas where you can improve performance and decrease your risk of injury.
