Adult Volunteers

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers are utilized year-round at both our Lawrenceville and Duluth campuses. Volunteers play a key role in assisting our staff throughout the hospital.

Volunteer Requirements
All Gwinnett Medical Center volunteers are required to:

  • Become a member of the Auxiliary.
  • Attend an orientation.
  • Purchase a volunteer uniform to wear while on duty.
  • Pay annual dues.

In addition, you must make a weekly, four-hour commitment to your assigned service area. Adult volunteers must be able to make a six-month commitment to the program.

Please note: The Auxiliary is not an internship program, nor is it a means to obtain a job within the hospital. We view volunteering as a long-term commitment and seek individuals who will serve for years to come.
