Visiting Hours & Policies

Visiting friends and family members is essential to the healing process of a patient. Not only does it bring them joy and comfort, it helps decrease the amount of time a patient spends in the hospital.

But to ensure patients get the proper amount of rest, visiting hours in most of our patient areas are 9 a.m.–9 p.m.

Units with specific visiting hours and rules:

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU)—General visiting hours: there are no set hours. Two visitors per room for approximately 10 minutes, no overnight visitors.
  • Intensive Medical Care Unit (IMCU)—General visiting hours: 10 a.m–8:30 p.m., two visitors per room. Past 8:30 p.m. one visitor may stay if patient's condition allows.
  • Maternity Ward—General visiting hours: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)—Parents registered with identification may visit at any time except 6:30 a.m.–7:30 a.m., 6:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. and during physician rounds.
