Lawrenceville, Ga.—Gwinnett Medical Center is the proud recipient of the Chamber’s Business of the Month award. GMC is the first business awarded in Gwinnett County due to the level of performance in four categories; outstanding customer service, outstanding community service, community development and chamber involvement.
“GMC is an outstanding member of our community,” said Jim Maran, president and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. “GMC’s staff, leadership and economic contributions to the community support the Chamber’s efforts and it is a great pleasure to honor Gwinnett Medical Center as our first awarded Business of the Month.”
GMC won 100% of the Chamber Board vote during the selection process. Community support and involvement were two major factors aiding this decision, and both GMC and the chamber work to help drive economic growth and development in the community.
“The high level of involvement through partnership Gwinnett has strengthened the relationship between GMC, the community and the Chamber. We have both been strong supporters of each other’s efforts and we are blessed to have the Chamber recognize us with such an honor,” said Phil Wolfe, president and CEO of Gwinnett Medical Center.
