The Center for Surgical Weight Management at GMC–Duluth Celebrates First Anniversary

Bariatric Center marks milestone with health fair and fashion show

Lawrenceville, Ga. (March 24, 2011)–The Center for Surgical Weight Management (CSWM) at GMC–Duluth marks its one-year anniversary tomorrow, March 25. Offering a variety of bariatric surgical options for patients interested in weight loss, CSWM has treated more than 60 patients since opening its doors last March.

CSWM’s first patient, Yvonne Wallace, exemplifies the positive transformation that comes with bariatric surgery. To date, Yvonne has shed more than 90 pounds, gaining new confidence and a new outlook on life.
