Samantha Cannon, MS OT, CLT
Samantha is an occupational therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. She graduated in 1995 from the Medical College of Georgia, with an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy. She worked at Glancy Rehabilitation Center as a certified occupational therapist assistant. In 2006, after receiving her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University, she transferred to Gwinnett SportsRehab. Sam has a certification in Complex Decongestive Therapy for lymphedema management (Foeldi/Vodder Method) from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. Her work experience includes acute care, outpatient care and neurological/orthopedic diagnoses.
Sam is a board member of Lighthouse Lymphedema Network and Gwinnett Medical Center Cancer Committee. She serves on the Community Outreach Committee and Breast Cancer Leadership. She has published a case study on in-home management of lymphedema and has presented at the National Lymphedema Network.
Sam has been with Gwinnett Medical Center since 1990 and Gwinnett SportsRehab since 2006.
