The Office of Corporate Compliance
At Gwinnett Medical Center, we are committed to integrity—it serves as the fundamental guiding principle of our employees, volunteers and advocates. And our Code of Conduct has been developed to communicate the rules and policies applicable to the maintenance of that commitment.
The Code of Conduct explains our efforts to combat fraud, waste and abuse in the health care system. It provides general information about the State False Medicaid Claims Act and the Federal False Claims Act. It describes the remedies and fines for violations that can result from certain types of fraudulent activities. And it summarizes protections for individuals who do the right thing and report concerns.
