Our Community
One of the nation’s fastest growing counties, Gwinnett offers an ideal mix of urban, suburban and rural amenities. Although only 25 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta, Gwinnett is nestled among rolling, wooded hills in a picturesque setting. Our area is also home to numerous historical sites, an annual county fair, fall festivals, a Civic and Cultural Center, a local choral guild and an active Arts Council.
In contrast to the bustle of active growth and development are lovely residential areas designed around the natural beauty that is so common in north Georgia. Throughout the area, you will find a wide range of shopping experiences, many wonderful restaurants, private country clubs, public golf courses, excellent parks and numerous tennis courts. Our county also has places of worship of every denomination, 12 public libraries, a superb county school system and highly respected private schools.
A great place to call home, Gwinnett County offers something for everyone plus all the spectacular sights, sounds and attractions of one of the world’s premier cities – Atlanta.
