GMC Foundation Raises $5.6 Million
Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation announced that fundraising efforts to support an open heart surgical program are 70 percent fulfilled; only $2.4 million is left to be raised out of the projected $8 million goal!
The campaign to bring advanced cardiac services to Gwinnett began in earnest after the Open Heart Is in Your Hands effort yielded more than 1,000 letters of support from members of the community. Not only that, but it helped the hospital secure approval from the Department of Community Health.
