The Joint Commission
The Joint Commission has developed a core set of research-based hospital quality measures, which are being used across the nation. Currently this quality information relates to the care given for patients with serious medical conditions such as heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Information is collected from hospitals that volunteer to provide data for public reporting. Click here to learn more about Gwinnett Hospital System's submitted data a reported results.
The following GHS facilities are surveyed and accredited by The Joint Commission:
- Gwinnett Medical Center
- Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth
- Gwinnett Extended Care Center
- SummitRidge
If you have a concern about the quality of care provided by Gwinnett Hospital System facilities, and that concern has not been resolved to your satisfaction, you can send your complaint to the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations by mail, fax or e-mail.
